Youth chops wife into 224 pieces; killed animals after putting them in oven and washing machine

LONDON: A 28-year-old youth stabbed his wife to death, then chopped her body into 224 pieces, stored them for a week before dumping them in the river. The incident happened in March 2023 at Lincolnshire in London.

The youth identified as Nicholas Metson confessed to have murdered his wife Holly Bramley aged 26. Eight days after she went missing, some plastic bags were found floating in the Witham River in Lincolnshire. Her husband, Nicholas Metson, who pleaded guilty to murder, will be sentenced on Monday.

The youth also testified that he kept the remains of the body in the kitchen for a week before dumping them in the river. He paid his friend some money to help him dispose the body parts in the river. He stabbed his wife several times in the bedroom and chopped her into pieces in the bathroom.

A morning walker found the plastic bags floating in the river and informed the police. The police told the court that the body was cut into pieces in such a way that the cause of death could not be ascertained.

When the police arrived his home after receiving a report that the woman was being physically abused, Nicholas told the police that he was a victim of domestic abuse. He showed the cops a bite mark on his arm as evidence. Police later told the court that Holly bit his hand while trying to escape from Nicholas. He also told the police that his wife had left the house with the support of a women’s support.

Police found blood-stained bed sheets in the bathtub. Blood stains were also found on the floor. The police also told the court that there was a strong smell of ammonia throughout the house. However, Nicholas did not tell the police why he killed his wife.

Her mother told the court that Nicholas and Holly had been married for just sixteen months. The couple was on the verge of separation when the murder happened. The police also found that Nicholas had searched the internet about what benefits he would get if his wife has died and whether someone will haunt him after they die. The police told the court that Nicholas killed Holly's hamsters by putting them in the blender and oven and her new puppy in the washing machine.
