KOTTAYAM: UDF Kottayam District Chairman Saji Manjakadambil may not return to UDF. In a response to a private channel, he said that going back to the Mons Joseph-led UDF would be disastrous. Saying that he was proud of Jose K. Mani's words, Saji hinted that he is not going back to the UDF for the time being.

The Congress criticized Joseph Group due to the sudden resignation of UDF Kottayam District Chairman Saji Manjakadambil while the Lok Sabha election campaign was at its peak. He resigned citing non-cooperation with him in election activities. Saji Manjakadambil stated that he had informed Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan MLA and that he would vote for those who treat him with love in this election and now he is not cooperating with anyone.

Saji, a great organizer, sacrificed more for the Joseph faction. The resignation of the party's district head is not a small matter. This marks the downfall of UDF. Jose K Mani said that it can be discussed if Saji decides to come to Kerala Congress M. The Congress leadership made a move to bring Saji Manjakadambil back but failed. The reason was that he did not respond positively.
