Two painting workers killed as car collides with bike

KANJIRAMATTOM: Two painting workers were killed after their bike collided with a car near Vincos Press at Chalakkapara in Kanjiramattom on the Kottayam- Ernakulam road. The deceased are Arayankavu native Joel Joseph (21) and Amballur native Insam (25). The accident took place on Monday morning.

The accident happened when the two were returning to Joel's house on a bike after attending a housewarming ceremony at a home in Mulanthuruthy. The front portion of the car was completely destroyed in the accident. The bike broke into several pieces due to the impact of the crash. The funerals of both Joel and Insam were held yesterday.
