Siddharth's death: Father of accused found dead

KOZHIKODE: The father of one of the accused in the case related to the death of veterinary university student Siddharth was found dead on Friday. Panthirikkara native PK Vijayan (55), the father of the 11th accused Adithyan in the case, was found dead in his house.

Earlier, the police had questioned Vijayan about the death of Siddharth. Vijayan was a teacher at the Pillapperuvanna Govt LP School. His wife Miranda is the headmistress of the same school.

Siddharth, a second-year student of the Pookode Veterinary University, was found hanging in the bathroom of the hostel on February 18. He was subjected to brutal torture by his senior students before his death. The case was recently taken up by the CBI.
