CHENNAI: Posters against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP are widely appearing in Tamil Nadu. Posters titled 'Ji Pay' with Modi's face and a QR code have appeared in several districts of the state ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. The poster encourages people to scan the QR code to see the scam.
Once scanned, the QR code will lead to a video on the alleged corruption committed by the BJP government. The video explains the BJP's alleged corruption through electoral bonds, the irregularities highlighted in the CAG report and the alleged corruption in various infrastructure projects. The video also states that the BJP government had written off corporate loans worth crores of rupees.

According to national media, the posters were put up by the workers of the DMK. Earlier, the DMK had slammed the BJP over corruption through electoral bonds.
The posters appeared soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at the ruling DMK during the rally held in Vellore. During the rally, Modi had alleged that both DMK and its ally Congress were prioritizing family interests over public welfare. He also said that both Congress and DMK were standing in front to protect corrupt people.
