UPSC civil services results: Ernakulam native Siddharth secures fourth rank, Keralites fare well

NEW DELHI: USPC civil services exam results for the year 2023 are now out. Lucknow native Aditya Srivastava grabbed the prestigious first rank while Malayali Siddharth Ramkumar secured the fourth rank bringing pride to the southern state. Siddharth is a native of Ernakulam and his success came in the fifth attempt. Siddharth was ranked 121 last time and is currently undergoing IPS training in Hyderabad.

As a whole, Malayalis fared well in India’s most gruelling examination, securing many places in the top 100 ranks. Vishnu Sasikumar (31st rank), Archana PP (40th rank), Ramya R (45th rank), Benjo P Jose (59th rank), Prashant S (28th rank), Annie George (Rank 93), G Harishankar (Rank 107) and Fabin Jose Thomas (Rank 133), Vineet Lohidakshan (169th rank), Manjusha B George (195th rank), Anusha Pillai (202nd rank), Nevin Kuruvila Thomas (225th rank) and Manjima P (235th rank) are few among the Malayalis who found a place in the rank list.

Siddharth's parents expressed surprise about the results as they were not aware of him appearing for the exams as he was currently undergoing training in IPS.
