'Maybe to buy cigarettes'; Suchitra Mohanlal about Pranav's unique lifestyle

‘Varshangalkku Shesham’, the sixth film directed by Vineeth Srinivasan is on a majestic run at the box office, reaping good profits. Many have adulated the comeback of actor Nivin Pauly in the movie while others heaped praises on both Dhyan Sreenivasan and Pranav Mohanlal for their tailored yet well-polished performance.

Interviews regarding the movie have occupied most of the social media space, while there was a notable absence from the list. It is of no surprise to learn Pranav Mohanlal distancing himself from any such interviews, as the actor’s sequestered lifestyle is now something voguish for his admirers to boast about.

It was at this time that Suchitra Mohanlal, wife of actor Mohanlal and mother to Pranav, decided to give a rare interview to an online channel where she opened up about the unique lifestyle of Pranav, which was hitherto unknown to the public.

The interviewer talked with Suchitra about his experience seeing Pranav eating from a roadside eatery while all the crew members were having food from the set. This brought up a curious response from Suchitra which caught many by surprise.

Suchitra:

He is like that. He likes to have food from local eateries. Even in Chennai, he will causally walk out of the house to go near a local tea shop for food and tea. Some mornings he would walk out of the house and if enquired, the answer would be ‘visiting local tea shop’.

I don’t know, maybe he is out there to buy some cigarettes. (Laughs)...Yes, he is like that.
