Youth sexually abuses foreigner in Kerala, flees with money 

IDUKKI: A complaint has been lodged against a youth from Coimbatore for sexually abusing a foreigner and then fleeing with her money. Prem Kumar (50) of Coimbatore after befriending her on social media, brought her to Kerala and then sexually abused her. The 39-year-old woman from Czechoslovakia filed a complaint against him at the Kumily police. She mentioned that he sexually abused her and then fled with the money.

She met him through Facebook in last December. He then invited her to visit South India through WhatsApp chat. According to this, she reached Kochi on March 12. He went to receive her at the airport in his own car. He then took her to the resort in Cherayi and abused her. As she did not know anyone else here, she was not able to convey this to anyone.

He later abused her in Alappuzha also. A fight broke out between the two and he fled with Rs 30,000, the money she gave for her expenses and 200 pounds. She later lodged a complaint with the police. A case was registered and the police intensified search for him. The police received the information that he may have fled to Tamil Nadu.
