One more woman files complaint; rape case slapped against Prajwal Revanna, kidnapping case against HD Revanna

BENGALURU: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) conducting a probe against JD(S) leader and Hassan sitting MP Prajwal Revanna in the sex tapes scandal has slapped a rape case against Prajwal. The SIT registered the rape case after one more woman filed a complaint alleging that she was raped by Prajwal. The visuals of the woman were also there in the pen drive that came out. The woman recorded her statement before the magistrate. The SIT filed the rape case under Section 376 of the IPC.

Meanwhile, the police have filed a kidnapping case against Prajwal's father HD Revanna on the complaint of a youth. The complainant alleged that his mother, who had been working as a maid at Revanna's residence, was forcibly taken away on April 29 and later videos of her being sexually harassed went viral on social media. Following the complaint, the KR Nagar Police in Mysuru registered a kidnapping case against HD Revanna.
