THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In areas with human-wildlife conflict, prevention work will be carried out in collaboration with the State Disaster Management Authority. For this, various departments will coordinate and prepare guidelines. The decision was taken at a meeting of international and national experts formed to mitigate wildlife conflict.
Preventive and remedial action will be implemented in 10 areas where wildlife conflict is severe. This process will ensure the availability of drinking water and proper habitat for wild animals visiting this region.
