Car seen before attack is of Vadakara registration, CPM behind attack, says Hariharan 

KOZHIKODE: RMP leader K S Hariharan alleged that CPM is behind the attack on his house. He said the car seen near the house before the attack was of Vadakara registration. Hariharan said that no one but the CPM would do this and the car may have already been handed over.

The RMP leader’s misogynistic remarks targeting former minister K K Shailaja had stoked a controversy in Vadakara. The DYFI had filed a complaint against this to the state police chief. CPM Kozhikode district secretary P Mohanan said the other day that this will not end with a simple expression of regret. Hariharan’s house was attacked at 8.15 pm last night. A group on a scooter hurled explosives at his house. A major accident was averted as the explosive hit the wall and exploded.

Hariharan made the controversial remark while referring to the obscene video controversy in Vadakara constituency over the Lok Sabha elections. ‘CPM's cyber goons thought that if they did some things, they would be done. The complaint is for making an obscene video of Shailaja. Will anybody do that?’ Hariharan said, referring to an actress, that one would understand if it was against her. This remark stoked a controversy.
