Youth collapses and dies after learning that father committed suicide

PARAVUR: In a tragic incident, a youth collapsed and died after learning that his father committed suicide. Moothakunnam native MU Sreedharan (72) was found hanging in the house yesterday morning. Upon learning about this, his son Pratheesh (43) collapsed. Although he was soon rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved. Both Sreedharan and Pratheesh were fishermen. Sreedharan's wife is Lalitha. His other children are Abhilash (Gulf), and Jijeesh (Civil Police Officer). Pratheesh's wife is Sumithra. Son: Harikrishnan. The funeral of the two will take place at Cherai crematorium this morning.
