It is according to the Oxford economic global cities index that Kochi ranks first among districts in Kerala. Finance, Human Resource, Quality of Life, Environment and Governance are the five parameters used. This practice used to rank major global cities.
According to the rankings, New York in USA is the number one city in the world. London in the UK, San Jose in USA, Tokyo in Japan make up the top 4. The number one city in India is Delhi. Delhi is 350th among all cities in the world.
