Record placements in state's polytechnic colleges: Minister R Bindu applauds achievement

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister of Higher Education and Social Justice Dr R Bindu has announced a record-breaking placement achievement in the state's polytechnic colleges for the year 2023-24. Diploma Engineers secured over 4500 placements across approximately 198 companies marking a significant milestone for Kerala's higher education sector.

Through the State Placement Cell system established by the Department of Technical Education, various industrial firms conducted campus placements in Kerala's polytechnic colleges. Offers ranging from Rs 1.8 lakh to Rs 13.5 lakh were extended by organizations including multinational companies.

Dr. Bindu highlighted the establishment of four regional placement cells under the State Placement Cell, inviting all eligible students to participate in the placement process. The state government's dedicated focus on enhancing technical college infrastructure reflects its commitment to higher education and vocational technical studies.

The minister emphasized that the government's efforts to nurture the new generation with advanced education and job skills have contributed to this remarkable achievement.
