'This is the setup behind the set that makes you pray', Prithviraj shares BTS scenes of Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil

Directed by Vipindas and starring Prithviraj and Basil Joseph, 'Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil' reached the 50 crore club within five days of its release. The climax of the film, directed by Vipindas revolves around the Guruvayoor temple. However, the climax was shot on a huge set built in Kalamassery, as there was no permission for filming in the Guruvayur temple. The Guruvayur temple was recreated under the leadership of art director Sunil Kumar at a cost of four crores. Now, Prithviraj has released a video of the set construction. He shared a video of the set construction with the title, "This is the setup behind the set that makes you pray."

Produced by Supriya Menon under the banner of Prithviraj Productions and Mukesh R Mehta and CV Sarathy under the banner of E for Entertainment, the film also stars Nikhila Vimal, Anaswara Rajan, Yogi Babu, Jagadish, Rekha, Irshad, Siju Sunny, Safwan, Kunhikrishnan Master and Manoj KU.

The film earned Rs 21.8 crore from Kerala and Rs 4.2 crore from other states. It collected 24.2 crores from foreign countries, with 13.80 crore from the Gulf alone. On the first day alone, it earned 3.8 crore from Kerala. This marks Prithviraj's second-best opening in his career with his career-best first-day collection being 'Aadujeevithatham,' which collected more than 16 crores.
