Woman's hair gets stuck in shawaya machine 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The hair which got stuck in the shawaya making machine, had to be cut as it could not be freed. The incident happened at the Noor Mahal Hotel at Palayam in Thiruvananthapuram.

The incident happened this afternoon at 12.15 pm. Atheesya, a student of Nilamel NSS College, ran to the shop to escape from the heavy rains. While running, she slipped and then her hair got stuck in the shawaya machine. The staff of the shop and people from outside tried to release her hair from the machine, but failed in their attempt. Her hair was seen melting in it.

On being informed, the fire force reached the spot at 12.30 pm. They tried to release the hair out of the machine but could not. Finally, her hair had to be cut in order to rescue her. She is fine other than a slight pain in the head. After resting for some time, she left for Nilamel.
