Australian cricketer Travis Head became the latest entrant into the rare breed of cricketers who condemned the horrific terrorist attack on Hindu pilgrims in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorist attacked the bus carrying pilgrims to the revered Mata Vaishno Devi shrine on Sunday, killing almost 10 which also included children.
There was widespread outrage over the incident and the social media blamed the Bollywood celebrities who were keen to admonish the atrocities in Rafah but kept a blind eye on happening in India. Suspiring many, it was Pakistan cricketer Hassan Ali, who first held up the nerve to condemn the terrorist attack. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating the matter and almost 20 individuals have been detained for questioning.
Travis Head with his support of the victims in the attack becomes the first Australian cricketer to publicly condemn the terrorist attack in Kashmir.
