Setting up swimming pool in car; Sanju Techy's license revoked for life

ALAPPUZHA: Strict action taken against YouTuber T S Sanju (Sanju Techy-29) for setting up swimming pool in car. Sanju's license has been revoked for life. Action is taken by Enforcement RTO.

The action was taken for continuous motor vehicle violations. The Enforcement RTO stated that a team was assigned to check the videos uploaded on the YouTuber's channel. RTO said serious violations were found in around 10 videos.

Sanju gave an explanation to the motor vehicle department's notice that he travelled with a swimming pool in the car out of ignorance and did not know that it is a traffic violation to modify vehicles. The YouTuber also requested not to take more drastic action. Yesterday, the RTO stated that after examining the explanation, further action will be taken.

The Mannancherry police had registered a case against Sanju Techy and his friends in the incident of setting up a swimming pool in the car. The action was taken on the complaint of Alappuzha Enforcement RTO R Ramanan. Sanju is the first accused and Suryanarayanan, a native of Avalukkunn who drove the car, is the second accused.

The other accused are Stanley Christopher (28) and G. Abhilash (29), natives of Alappuzha, who travelled with them. The offenses include reckless driving on public roads, endangering human life and disturbing public safety.

The Department of Motor Vehicles had also filed a report against Sanju Techy in the High Court. Sanju's car was taken into police custody earlier. The High Court voluntarily intervened in the incident and asked for a report from the Motor Vehicle Department.
