Instagram love: Woman commits suicide after marriage by hanging 

MALAYINKEEZH: A young woman who got married to a man she met through Instagram was found hanging dead at home. Akhila (21), of Akhila Niwas, Malayinkeezh Pulari Nagar, was found dead in her room yesterday afternoon. No one else was in the house at the time of the incident.

After Akhila went missing from her home in April, her father Binu filed a complaint with the Malayinkeezh police. The information that Akhila left with a young man named Mohammad Irshad from Kozhikode was received during the investigation. When she was brought to the station and asked for information, the girl stated that she had left of her own free will. The police registered their marriage and released them. Both were living in Irshad's house in Kollam.

Akhila was brought to Ponnani to convert. However, due to a health problem, Akhila informed her family on May 10 and they admitted her to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Muhammad Irshad was also with them. Relatives said that Akhila was covering her face with a hijab and did not show her face. Mother: Janatha (late). Sister: Nikhila.
