'He has the mentality of eating his entire salary alone'; Anoop Chandran lashes out at Fahadh Faasil

The annual general body meeting of the Association of Malayalam Movie Actors (AMMA) was held in Kochi on June 30. While several celebrities, including Mohanlal, attended the general body meeting, it was apparent that younger actors, such as Fahadh Faasil, were not present. Now, actor Anoop Chandran has come out criticising Fahadh for not attending the general body meeting.

Speaking to a media outlet, Anoop said that Fahadh was in Kochi while AMMA's general body meeting was being held at Gokulam Convention Centre.

"Both Fahadh and his wife (Nazriya) attended the wedding function of actress Meera Nandan in Kochi on Sunday. However, they did not attend the general body meeting. I think that Fahadh did not attend the meeting as he has the mentality to eat his entire salary alone," Anoop Chandran said.

"Youngsters should become more involved in the activities of AMMA organisation. I don't agree with Fahadh's stand of staying away from the meetings of the organisation," he added.

"AMMA organisation has a goal. It was formed to provide financial support to film artists facing difficulties in life. What will Fahadh lose if he attends the meeting of this organisation? Youths are generally selfish and I can say that Fahadh is one such man. He is a person who earns several crores as a salary. An actor, who is a member of the organisation, should also take part in the charity works of the organisation. Fahadh's decision not to attend the meeting despite being in Kochi is unforgivable," Anoop added.
