Suresh Gopi's victory in Thrissur an achievement; Javadekar to continue as Kerala Prabhari; Anil Antony with new responsibility

prabhari

NEW DELHI: State in-charges of BJP have been announced. Former Union Minister Prakash Javadekar will continue as Kerala Prabhari. BJP National President JP Nadda made the appointments to the new posts. Aparajita Sarangi will also continue as co-Prabhari in Kerala.

It is indicated that the BJP's decision is taking into account the fact that the party was able to open an account in Thrissur and there was an increase in the vote share of the party in Kerala. Anil Antony, son of senior Congress leader AK Antony and NDA candidate from Pathanamthitta, was appointed as Prabhari in charge of Nagaland and Meghalaya. Former Union Minister V Muraleedharan has been appointed as Joint Coordinator for the North Eastern States. Muralidharan is getting the national charge after a break. Sambit Patra is the coordinator.

National president JP Nadda has appointed the state in-charges and co-in-charges in states like Haryana, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir as assembly elections are to be held this year. The in-charges will also oversee the corrective measures in the states that suffered setbacks in the Lok Sabha elections.
