Mother and daughter found dead in Palode after overdose of sleeping pills

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A mother and daughter found dead in Palode. Suprabha (88) and her daughter Geetha (59) of Geethalayam, Chellanji were found dead. The reason behind death was overdose of sleeping pills. The bodies were found at 8:30 today morning.

It is known that mental stress led to suicide. Last day, a verdict was passed against them in connection with a law suit regarding 12 cents of land. Relatives say that this may be the reason for suicide.

Geetha's body was found in the hall of the house. Suprabha's dead body was in the bedroom. Geetha's husband Vatsalan was at home.
