Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant to tie knot today, dignitaries from world expected; Mumbai going to witness spectacular ceremony

MUMBAI: The marriage of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani and businessman Viren Merchant’s daughter Radhika Merchant will be held today. Dignitaries from all over the world are expected to attend the event.

The couple will tie the knot at a function held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

According to reports, boxer Mike Tyson, Prime Ministers of various countries, former Prime Ministers of the UK and global business leaders will attend the wedding. Priyanka Chopra and her husband singer Nick Jonas reached Mumbai yesterday.

Apart from the VVIPs from around the world, all the Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jhanvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and others will attend the function.

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, his wife Anjali and daughter Sara Tendulkar will attend the function. Chief Ministers of all states have been invited to the function. Union Ministers and Chief Ministers will attend tomorrow's banquet. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the function. After the marriage at the Jio World Convention Centre, the festivities will continue with Shubh Aashirwad on July 13 and will culminate in 'Mangal Utsav,' a grand wedding reception, on July 14.
