Mammootty, Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan; 'Manorathangal' OTT release date announced, watch trailer

The anthology series of nine movies excerpted from the short stories of legendary author M T Vasudevan Nair is gearing up for release on August 15th. The anthology with Mohanlal, Mammootty and Kamal Haasan will be streamed through the Zee 5 OTT platform.

• Shilalikhitham: Starring Biju Menon, directed by Priyadarshan

• Kadugannawa Oru Yathra: Starring Mammootty, directed by Ranjith

• Abhayam Thedi: Starring Siddique, directed by Santhosh Sivan

• Kazhcha: Starring Narain and Parvathy, directed by Shyamaprasad

• Swargam Thurakkunna Samayam: Starring Indrans, directed by Jayaraj

• Vilpana: Starring Madhu, Asif Ali, directed by Aswathy

• Kadalkattu: Starring Indrajith, directed by Ratheesh Ambat

• Sherlock: Starring Fahad Fasil, directed by Mahesh Narayanan

Mohanlal-Priyadarshan movie will be a spin-off from Olavum Theeravum(1970) written by M. T. Vasudevan Nair, and directed by P N Menon. The longest film in the anthology is 50 minutes long. Mohanlal’s movie will come in black and white format.

This movie will also see Priyadarshan collaborating with Mohanlal, Santhosh Sivan and Sabu Cyril after Kalapani in 1995.
