THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Union Minister V. Muraleedharan said that the Karnataka government was late in seeking the help of the army for the rescue operation of the Malayali driver Arjun. Despite the fact that the Congress organization's General Secretary is a Malayali, the state ruled by the party continues to be complacent. When the accident happened in Kuwait, the ministers of Kerala, who were in a hurry to leave, why are they delaying to reach Karnataka? The state government is responsible for the death of Joy, who drowned in the Amayizhanjan canal. The former Union Minister responded that such an approach should not be taken when it comes to human life.

The rescue mission is continuing to find the driver Arjun (30) who went missing with the lorry after a landslide on the Angola Shirur National Highway. Karnataka Revenue Minister Krishna Baira Gowda confirmed that the lorry was not found at the place where the radar signal was received.

98 percent of the soil in the area has been removed. No more soil can be taken because of the possibility of landslides. The Geological Survey of India has warned that if the soil is removed further, there will be another landslide. Further inspection will be as per the decision of the army.
