BENGALURU: It is doubted that the Indian army has received crucial information regarding the missing truck in Shirur hill slide. Two crucial signals were found from the radar inspection conducted at the hill slide debris. This has brought back doubts about the truck remaining trapped under the debris, contrary to what was propounded by the officials. Though the signals are vital, they can sometimes also end up false. As of now, the soil is being removed from this area to fastrack the search operation.

It is reported that the presence of metal was obtained in the inspection using the deep search detector. The presence of metal was detected in the same area where Arjun’s phone was located for the last time.

Meanwhile, scuba divers are searching the dune area of the Gangavali River. The Navy will deliver more equipment for testing. Uttara Kannada District Collector Lakshmi Priya cast doubted the vehicle to be submerged in the water. The collector while responding to media expressed '99 per cent' certitude about the vehicle not being under the debris in Shiroor.
