Actress Gayatri Ashok has informed through Instagram that the release of Manju Warrier's new film 'Footage' has been postponed. It is informed that the decision is in the backdrop of the Wayanad landslide.
"With prayers with the people of Wayanad who are reeling under the rains and landslides that have sowed misery. The release of our film Footage, which was scheduled to be released on August 2, has been postponed to another day," Gayatri wrote on Instagram.
The crew released a poster with 18+ sign on it even before the censor board certified the film. Saiju Sridhar is the director of the movie. The film is a suspense thriller in which Visakh Nair and Gayatri Ashok play lead roles.
Manju Warrier has also shared a note on Facebook saying that safety and vigilance should be maintained due to torrential rains and natural calamities. "Follow the government instructions. Avoid travelling. Do not spread false news. With prayers for the dear brothers and sisters in Wayanad," the actress wrote on Facebook.
