Kottayam DCC general secretary collapses and dies

KOTTAYAM: Kottayam DCC general secretary Joboy George collapsed and died in the city centre on Thursday. He was 45 years old. Joboy collapsed while buying vegetables in the Kottayam city market. Although he was rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved. The preliminary conclusion is that he died of a heart attack.

Joboy was the former Kottayam district president and state general secretary of KSU. A native of Kuravilangad, Joboy had also served as the Youth Congress Parliamentary Constituency President.
