PARIS: India's sixth medal in the Paris Olympics from wrestling. Yesterday, Aman Sehrawat won bronze in men's 57kg freestyle wrestling. 21-year-old Aman defeated Puerto Rico's Darien Toy Cruz in the bronze medal match. The Indian player won the six-minute fight in two rounds with a score of 13-5. Aman competed for the bronze medal after losing in the semifinals. Aman defeated an opponent who was better than him to win bronze. This is the first Olympics for Aman, who hails from Haryana.

This is India's first medal in wrestling at the Paris Olympics. Aman won India's fifth bronze medal in the Paris Olympics. India has won a medal in wrestling in every Olympics since 2008.
