KALPETTA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi after visiting the disaster-stricken land of Chooralmala, said it was the need of the hour to protect the future of those affected by the calamity and requested Kerala to give a detailed memorandum.

“I have experienced many brutal sights in my life and have no difficulty in understanding what these people went through. These people are not alone, Central government will join hands with Kerala and will give all assistance possible. Money won’t be a matter. Kerala should submit a detailed memorandum regarding the damages. The memorandum should include the total number of houses destroyed and the total people affected by the disaster.” said PM Modi.

The Prime Minister was speaking after a half-hour-long review meeting at the Wayanad Collectorate. The Chief Minister and other people representatives attended the meeting. After the review, the Prime Minister left Wayanad for Delhi.
