75-year-old man arrested for assaulting woman conductor on KSRTC bus

PATHANAMTHITTA: A 75-year-old man, identified as Koshi from Ilanthur, was arrested after assaulting a woman conductor inside a KSRTC bus this afternoon. The incident occurred on an ordinary KSRTC bus en route to Ilavumthitta in Pathanamthitta.

When questioned by passengers, Koshi attempted to flee by jumping off the moving bus. However, he was quickly apprehended by passengers and locals, who then handed him over to the police. It is suspected that Koshi was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the assault. The police have taken him into custody for further investigation.
