THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 13-year-old missing girl from Kazhakuttam is doubted to have boarded a train to Silchar in Assam. As of now, the train has reached Palakkad station, with police foraging every bogie. Officials are waking up passengers and showing them photos of the missing girl to identify. Assam native Anwar Hussain's daughter Tasmeen Begum has been missing since Tuesday morning.

It is reported that the girl boarded Aronai Express heading towards Silchar.

Earlier on Tuesday, Tasmeen received a dressing down from her mother for quarrelling with neighbouring children. In a rage over getting scolded, Tasmeen left the house. However, the family smelled something wrong after Tasmeen failed to return home even after hours. It is doubted that Tasmeen left her house with a bag full of her clothes. It was just one month before that the girl reached the capital city.
