THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More information has surfaced over the bomb threat on Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram Air India flight. The authorities have concluded that this would be a fake bomb threat. It is reported that the threat was written on the tissue paper obtained from the washroom.
Soon after noticing the threat, the pilot informed the air traffic control. The flight then landed safely in Thiruvananthapuram. In the wake of the incident, security was beefed up for the landing.
The police have taken over the investigation into the incident. An inquiry will be conducted on whether any of the passengers have written such a letter. All 135 passengers will be questioned.

Just before the Air India flight from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram landed in Thiruvananthapuram, a message was received that a bomb has been placed on the plane. The flight was supposed to land at 8.10 am. It landed ten minutes early in the wake of the threat.
