Salary of five lakhs; other benefits as well; Retired IAS officer Mini Antony reappointed as Additional CEO at KIIFB

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Retired IAS officer Mini Antony has been reappointed as Additional CEO at KIIFB. It is reported that Mini Antony will be paid around five lakh including a salary of three lakh and other benefits. The government has not yet released any notification regarding the appointment.

There was opposition from various quarters earlier, when it was indicated that Mini Antony would be reappointed. There is also protest at the administration level to creating redundant posts during the financial crisis. The move was done secretly in this situation. It is learned that Mini Antony took charge a week ago. Mini Antony, who was the secretary of the Department of Cooperation and Culture, retired from service on May 31. She is a native of Alappuzha.
