THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ADGP MR Ajith Kumar has written a letter to the Chief Minister, stating that if the investigation into the allegations against him reveals his innocence, the government should initiate action against those who levelled the allegations. This is the second letter Ajith Kumar has written, following the controversies. Earlier, he had submitted a letter to the Chief Minister and DGP, requesting an investigation into the allegations against him and seeking to be temporarily relieved of his duties.

The investigation team, headed by the DGP, was constituted and is currently conducting an investigation, prompted by the letter written by ADGP Ajith Kumar. The government order announcing the investigation explicitly mentioned Ajith Kumar's letter. Ajith Kumar was forced to write the second letter as the controversies surrounding him have gained momentum. Ajith Kumar has demanded that if the investigation reveals his innocence, the government should initiate legal action against those who levelled the allegations against him.
