Three women killed after being hit by train in Kasargod

KASARGOD: In a tragic incident, three people were killed after being hit by a train while crossing tracks. The accident occurred near Kanhangad in Kasaragod district. The victims have been identified as Chinnamma (70), Alice Thomas (69), and Angel (30), all hailing from Chingavanam in Kottayam district.

The accident occurred at around 7.15 pm on Saturday. Police and Fire Force have reached the spot. Police and fire personnel have arrived at the scene and are investigating. Reports indicate that the women involved in the accident were returning after attending a wedding ceremony in Kanhangad.

The bodies were severely mutilated, making identification difficult. According to reports, the women were hit by a goods train.
