ABU DHABI: Botim Ultra, a popular video calling app in the UAE, has rolled out a new feature that promises significant financial relief for expatriates. The app now allows users to send money back home instantly, while offering the flexibility to pay in installments. This service is expected to greatly benefit expats who often face cash flow issues, especially toward the end of the month.
This innovative addition makes Botim the first app in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region to provide such a feature, helping users manage their financial transactions smoothly in urgent situations.
“Using our new system, payments can be made swiftly, which will benefit millions of expatriates. With this app, sending money to your home country is now easier than ever,” said Abdullah Abu Shaikh, Founder and CEO of Botim and Astra Tech.
Botim introduced this feature after acquiring a financial services license through Quantix, a UAE Central Bank-licensed provider. Besides sending money, users can also purchase goods through the app’s "Pay Later" system.
