'Advisers are continuing to mislead Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, still looking despite presence of evidence'; PV Anvar MLA with allegations 

MALAPPURAM: PV Anvar, the Left MLA from Nilambur, said that the allegations made by him have completely misled the chief minister. "I levelled allegations against very few officers of the police. Most of the police are good officers. The police in Kerala are a role model for the entire country. Advisers are continuing to mislead Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan," Anwar said at a press conference.

"I have said that the tapping of Sujit Das's phone was immoral. However, there was no other option but to release it. The full phone conversation has not been released. If it is released, the situation of these police officers will get worse. What the Hon'ble Chief Minister has said should be reconsidered. When the misunderstanding changes, the chief minister's stand will also change. They are still looking despite the presence of evidence. Let them look, we'll see.

The chief minister's statement that the accused in the gold smuggling case are being glorified is also his misunderstanding. As per the law prescribed by the country, the customs should be informed as soon as the police receive information regarding the gold smuggling. It is the customs that should catch gold smuggling. However, no case has been reported to the customs. I'm trying to give evidence. However, no one is coming forward as the ADGP has not been changed so far.
