GUWAHATI: Kerala Blasters worked hard to tame NorthEast United to a draw in Blaster’s first away game of his season’s ISL. Alaeddine Ajaraie scored for Northeast in the second half to help the team go front. It took just nine minutes after the goal for Blasters to level the game with Noah Sadaoui's goal.
In the last minutes of the first half, North East's Malayali player Jithin received a golden opportunity to score but failed to convert. Blasters had an option to take the lead in the second half but KP Rahul's sloppy shot was blocked by the goalkeeper.
Alaeddine Ajaraie’s free-kick went into the net due to a mistake by Blasters goalkeeper Sachin Suresh. The ball slipped from the player's hands and crossed the goal line between his legs. After completing the season's first three matches, Blasters have four points and are fifth in the point table.
