Actor Kannan Pattambi said that he never thought Nayanthara would become a leading actress in South India. He said that he thought Nayanthara would be fielded out after her first film Manassinakkare. He was sharing his interesting experiences in film life with a YouTube channel.

‘Nayanthara had stayed in my house during the shoot of her first film Manassinakkare. I was entrusted in helping Preman, the art director of the film. She had stayed in my house for many days. I would have become her manager if stood with Nayanthara. I would also have turned a millionaire.

She was calm. I met her again while she was shooting for Bodyguard in Ottapalam. I went there to meet director Siddique. Seeing me, she immediately got up. I was surprised. I had heard everyone saying that she was defiant. I don't know whether she got up from her old memory. She smiled at me and said hello. We will never get Nayanthara of Manassinakkare again.

All actors introduced by director Sathyan Anthikad had turned to be outstanding actors. We have said this even after meeting Asin for the first time. Thought she would be out from the film field after her first film Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka.

Kannan also spoke about Mohanlal's son and actor Pranav Mohanlal. 'Knew that Pranav would turn out to be a good actor. He was not interested in films in the beginning. He later acted in Aadhi. I called his mother Suchitra after seeing the film. Asked his number, I was surprised hearing her reply. She told me that if he picks up the phone, ask him to call me.

One will be surprised to hear what Mohanlal says about his son. The superstar addresses his son politely. As far as I know Pranav doesn't have many shirts or banyans. He says, ‘I am not Mohanlal’. When director Jeethu Joseph asked Pranav why he is acting, his reply was to publish a book,' said Kannan.
