'Insulting womanhood through social media'; Case filed against actors Swasika, Beena Antony and Manoj

KOCHI: Police registered a case against actress Beena Antony, her husband Manoj and actress Swasika on the complaint of an actress from Aluva. Nedumbassery police registered the case making Beena Antony the first accused, Manoj the second accused and Swasika the third.

According to the complaint, the actress said Manoj and Beena Antony insulted womanhood through their YouTube channel. She also alleged this to be a hatchet job for the complaints she previously filed against top actors in Mollywood.

The same actress had filed a harassment complaint against actors Jayasurya, Balachandra Menon, Mukesh, Edavela Babu, Maniyanpilla Raju and Jafar Idukki.

Meanwhile, actor Balachandra Menon registered a cyber-complaint against the Aluva-based actress for blackmailing and spreading disgusting factoids, tampering with his repute on social media. A POCSO case is also pending against the same actress on the complaint of a relative.
