Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has revealed she is undergoing treatment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In an interview with a YouTube channel, she said she discovered her condition through a psychological test. She said that she finds mental peace when spending time with her daughter.

"Due to my ADHD, I've never been able to sit calmly and focus on one thing. I prefer things to happen quickly. Even as a child, I'd get lost in unnecessary thoughts. During school days, I used to get distracted when someone spoke in the class. Just recently, I took up a psychological test and after that, I realised I have ADHD. Until then, I had no knowledge of this condition," Alia said.

"However, I realized that I am at so much peace when I am in front of the camera or spending time with Raha. I stay present at that moment. When I'm acting, I become the character, and that's when I feel most focused.," she added.

Earlier, Malayalam actors Fahadh Faasil and Shine Tom Chacko had openly spoken about suffering from ADHD. Fahadh Faasil stated that he was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 41.
