'Loyal congress worker until yesterday'; KPCC digital media cell convenor P Sarin hints at resignation

PALAKKAD: KPCC Digital Media Cell Convenor Dr P Sarin is all set to leave Congress party. On Thursday morning, Sarin when answering journalist queries, gave a sly hint — “I was a loyal congress worker till yesterday. A press conference is scheduled for 11.45 am on Thursday. I will reveal more details then”.

Sarin on Wednesday called a press conference and made his disappointment public over Congress choosing Rahul Mamkootathil as a candidate in Sarin’s home turf Palakkad. He even asked the congress leadership to do course correction but did not respond whether he would jump ship to LDF.

The CPM leadership will extend a seat for Sarin in Palakkad if the congress media cell convener decides to resign from the party.
