'Urgently need nine lakh rupees, planning to sell lorry', says Manaf

Truck owner Manaf, who endured ups and downs for his involvement in the Shirur landslide rescue mission, is now planning to sell his lorry. Manaf said he urgently needed Rs nine lakh and decided to sell his lorry to make money. The 12-wheeler lorry will be put on auction and Manaf also asked interested buyers to approach him.

"I urgently require Rs nine lakh. My 2012 model lorry will be sold for that purpose. I will put it on OLX. I request people to not bargain.” Manaf.

Two days ago, Manaf came forward through his YouTube channel saying that he needed five lakh rupees. He asked for public donations to build a charity app. Manaf responded that the app costs Rs 5 lakh and requested help from experts to move ahead.

He said the app would offer more transparency into the money transfer for charity services. Manaf is now a frequent face in inaugurations across the state after his sudden rise in popularity.
