KOZHIKODE: There is further explosion in the party even as a section of BJP leaders are trying to pacify Sandeep Warrier in Palakkad. BJP Kozhikode district secretary T Raneesh has come out criticising union ministers from Kerala state. Raneesh criticized the attitude towards the party workers of some from Kerala who became ministers in the name of the party. The criticism is that many people are reluctant to even laugh when they see ordinary party workers.
"They forget that the lives and livelihood of so many people are the reason for the facilities they are enjoying today," says Raneesh. "Many people think that it is because of their own actions that they have reached the top positions. Let everyone understand that this is because of the suffering of ordinary workers and hope they have the heart to listen to them as well," says Raneesh.
Raneesh also narrated his experience when Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw arrived in Kozhikode. Raneesh pointed out that the Union Minister had seen and listened to those who were waiting with petitions and listened patiently to what the party supporters had to say.
In a Facebook post, Raneesh wrote, "Even if they can't do anything for the selfless workers, when they see them, they should tap them on the shoulder and at least say 'let's try' after listening to what they have to say."
Meantime, BJP leader Sandeep Warrier had said that what he wanted was a solution and not a consensus on the Palakkad issue and the time for it was over. He said he had to face many insults and his self-respect had been hurt. He was addressing the media after a Facebook post against the BJP leadership and Palakkad candidate C Krishnakumar.
