NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah while in his poll campaigning at Jharkhand promised to stop ‘intruders’ from occupying tribal lands of the state if BJP is elected to power. In a rally held at Seraikela on Monday, Shah alleged that ‘INDI’ alliance encouraged ‘intruders’ from Bangladesh to come to the state and occupy tribal lands.
Amit Shah:
“Intruders will not be allowed to marry tribal girls and acquire land in Jharkhand. If BJP wins, the law will be passed for this purpose. A committee will be formed to drive out the encroachers and reclaim the land they have seized.
The hallmark of the JMM-RJD-Congress government is appeasement. They have destroyed the social harmony of the state by deploying Bangladeshi infiltrators across Jharkhand for votes.
The recovery of Rs 350 crores from the Congress MP's house speaks volumes of the netherworld of corruption.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also assured booth-level activists that BJP would fulfil all election promises if elected to power. PM also praised the grassroots-level workers for doing a fine job which he said has taken away the sleep of the opposition parties.
