Woman dies after hit by train while crossing tracks

THRISSUR: A woman died after a train hit her while crossing the track. The dead is a native of Kanhangad, who came for meditation at the Divine Meditation Centre. She has not been identified. The accident happened when the three were crossing the track near Divine Nagar railway station at Muringoor in Thrissur. One sustained serious injury and she has been identified as Usha, wife of Thomas of North Paravur. The police arrived and took her to the hospital half an hour after the incident. The women were hit by a train from Ernakulam.
