Woman dies after falling from moving KSRTC bus in Idukki

IDUKKI: A woman, who sustained serious injuries after falling from a moving KSRTC bus, died here Tuesday. The woman fell from the bus at Elappara in Idukki. She has been identified as Swarnamma of Upputhara Cheenthalar.

The tragic incident happened Tuesday morning. The incident happened at Chinnar 4th Mile on the Kattappana-Kuttikanam route on the hilly highway. The woman, who was standing near the door of the bus, slipped and fell. The seriously injured woman was taken to the Kottayam Medical College Hospital, but her life could not be saved. KSRTC has started an investigation into the incident. More details of the woman have not been obtained.
