Lack of clarity in statements; DGP returns report submitted by police on EP Jayarajan autobiography controversy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The DGP has returned the inquiry report submitted by the police regarding the controversy surrounding the autobiography of CPM central committee member EP Jayarajan. The DGP returned the report to the investigation team pointing out that there was a lack of clarity in the statements provided by EP Jayarajan and DC Ravi.

According to the report submitted by the police, EP Jayarajan's autobiography was leaked from DC Books. However, there is no clarity as to why the autobiography was leaked. The DGP has directed the Kottayam SP to submit another report after conducting an investigation once again.
