'Talked with her, but many questions still unanswered'; Mareena Michael responds

Actress Mareena Michael Kurisingal's feud with Pearle Maaney is brewing on social media. In a recent interview, Mareena fired shots at an anchor, which many presumed was directed at Pearle Maaney. A debate ensued over the topic and Mareena came under cyber-attack.

Mareena:

“During my starting phase in movies, one channel asked me for an interview. I said yes but it got cancelled. The same channel invited me yet again but this time too, it got cancelled at the last stage. They called for a third time and I requested them to not embarrass me this time. The show was fixed but the anchor supposed to interview me backed off. The channel officials explained that the anchor turned away knowing she had to interview me.

I’m not naming the anchor but she looks like me and has frizzy hair.”

Mareena came under cyber-attack after her revelations. After this, Pearle Maaney came forward giving her side of explanation and ruled out the statements made by Mareena.

Now in an interview given to the media, Mareena admitted that Pearle called her to clear the air over the issue.

“She called me from somebody else’s phone and tried to explain her part. But when I asked back two questions, there was silence from her side but no answers. It is normal for people to throw expletives when we are explaining our part. I have experienced it before so it is of no concern.” Said Mareena.
